Apple intelligence also has camera control on the side button, having fast accessibility to taking pictures.
“Apple products are overpriced for how quickly their phones get outdated,” iPhone 15 user Zoey Nelson said.
As Apple promotes their products, they focus on getting the consumers’ attention, promoting products for brand loyalty. One of the more controversial changes they made was adding a USB-C charging port, now making it unable to charge older iPhones or other apple products that aren’t supported with the USB-C port. The reason why they did this was to speed up the charging time by twenty times more than the previous charging port.
“The new action button, its unnecessary,” Nelson said, finding that the action button on the side wasn’t a necessity in everyday life.
The action button, why was it added? One of the many reasons Apple added it was for more accessibility for users with special challenges or needs, this being the main reason. Some other reasons for adding the action button were to reduce screen time, accessing focus mode and opening shortcuts will help keep the phone away with minimal distractions. Another reason being fast and efficient interactivity, taking photos, voice memos, and live speech, all with just one tap. With the new features added, older phones have downgraded and have stopped updating with the new IOS updates, a strategy apple uses to get people to buy new iPhones.
“Its targeted towards people who have older phones because they need a new and better phone,” Nelson said.
Many people who use the new iPhone products with the action button have found a problem with the use of the action button, finding it either “useless” or they simply think its not worth the change of what was “perfectly fine” before.
“I think it moves smoother, but otherwise it is the same as other iPhones,” Nelson said.
The iPhone 16, what makes it different from the 15? As you scroll on any media, you can find many people who have already purchased the 16, first impressions not being far off from when the 15 was released.

Many people think the new iPhone 16 looks like an Android with its camera and the new IOS 18 update. Some people have even said they won’t even buy the phone because of how the back of the camera looks, the vertical look is not interesting to people.
